Coronavirus (COVID-19) Policy
With the current spread of (confirmed) COVID-19 cases in Michigan, we'd like to clarify to the few people we are interacting with when touring our rental homes. At this time, we are only doing individual showings after we've had a phone screening and an online application has been submitted. To make you feel more comfortable, we've made sure to upload lots of photos and additional information around each home. If you would like to see more, we're happy to do a virtual showing via FaceTime, Skype or Zoom.
Touring Safely
We're using the CDC's recommendations to protect yourself and others while touring a home.
Clean your Hands - Please make sure to clean your hands before coming on the tour. If you have hand sanitizer available, bring some to use before entering the home and avoid touching surfaces as much as possible. We'll make sure doors are propped open for you as well.
Safe Distances - The CDC recommends a safe distance of 6 feet and to avoid contact as much as possible. To help accomplish this, we plan to welcome you with a warm smile but need to avoid shaking hands when we meet. During the tour, we'll give you some additional space when walking around as well.
Stay Home if you're sick - This should feel obvious by now but if you're not feeling well (in any way), it's best to reschedule. We plan on doing the same if we feel sick or a current tenants notifies us of the same.
Cover coughs and sneezes - If you feel a cough or sneeze coming, please cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your elbow. You can take a minute (or at least 20 second) to wash your hands right away if this happens.
Clean and disinfect - We will bring Clorox wipes with us to wipe down any surface that were touched. Including tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, toilets, faucets, and sinks.
Outside Discussions - If the weather is nice enough, we'd like to have a majority of our discussions in the yard before and after the tour. This also gives us an opportunity to point out different features of the neighborhood while enjoying some fresh air.
Thank you for helping us keep each other safe. We're excited to meet you and hope you enjoy the home.
